Here’s a suggestion.  Columbia University should require every student to take a semester in Cuba.  I’ve been.  It’s harrowing there—incredible poverty, no freedom.  Fidel the communist imposed a doomsday scenario on his own people.  It worked.

At least the radical students could absorb the “collective warmth” as Mamdani described socialist/communist governance. And it is very warm in Havana. Few Cubans can afford air conditioning.

But even if the student radicals saw the horror up close, they’d make excuses for it.

That’s where the dumb comes in.

We all know people who are simply clueless, and that is constitutionally protected.  In America, you have a legal right to be a moron.  That might be the most used protection the founders gave us.

When I was younger, dumbness did not bother me much.  I saw stupidity as less competition for the legal tender.  But it’s different now.

The Democratic Party has rejected its “help the working people” model and surrendered to the radical left.  Watch Senator Chuck Schumer, once a rational lawmaker.  Now the Chuckster knows the communist Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez would likely beat him in a primary.  So the Chuck guy is all in for the radical lion El-Sayed in Michigan even though El-Sayed despises Jewish people.

Uh, that would be you, Chuck.

When speaking about Charles Schumer, we’re not taking dumb.  We’re talking sellout. The New Yorkers who vote for Schumer are dumb. Yes, you are!  There’s no other word.

If traditional Democrats stood up to the radicals, that movement would collapse.

Instead, we have a series of foolish leftwingers running around touting “democratic socialism.”  Sure.  State control of the means of production in America has somehow become a good thing; a bastion of freedom.

Punishing successful people with draconian taxes, open borders, defunding police and the military will all provide the country with security and justice.  That’s what the nimrods believe.

Dumb.  Beyond any logical pale.

The pursuit of happiness will not be enhanced by a vengeful political movement which wants to regulate how we live and what we are allowed to have. That’s a totalitarian point of view.

Adolph, Joe Stalin, Mao, Ho Chi Minh all tried it as they blood-soaked their countries.

However, the radical left doesn’t care about failures of the past.  Many don’t even know about them.

I’d say that was pretty dumb as well.
