Are all of the products sold in The Store made in the USA?

Supporting the United States’ economy is just as important to Bill O'Reilly and all of us at BillOReilly.com as the charities that Bill supports through website sales. It is always our preference to offer “Made in USA” merchandise, and up until around 2006, we were able to operate The Store with only 100% “Made in USA” merchandise.

Since then, however, globalization has often made it impossible to find merchandise that meets the Federal Trade Commission’s (FTC) requirement for “Made in USA” merchandise: “All, or virtually all, significant parts and processing that go into the product must be of U.S. origin. That is, the product should contain no—or negligible—foreign content.”

Additionally, COO problems are frequently compounded by basic business requirements of quality, style, fit, available inventory, production turn-around times, and so forth.

As a result, when there is demand for an item that cannot be met by a 100% “Made in USA” product, BillOReilly.com will purchase from an alternative supplier that can provide the product and meet our standards of quality and level of service.  If a product does not meet the FTC’s “Made in USA” definition, we will clearly label it with actual COO information so that you can make your own informed purchase decision.

BillOReilly.com does not, and will not, use unregulated and misleading terms like “American Made” or “Made in America” simply because a portion of a product’s manufacturing process is done in the United States.

We do have a specific section of our store that lists all of our products that are manufactured here in the USA, a number of which we have carried from our start, located at http://bor.com/n/hjrecj.
